Introduction to the HSA Constitution

The Health Stars Alliance (HSA) exists to enhance health and well-being by helping individuals maintain their physical and mental health, recover from illness, and live as well as possible when full recovery is not achievable. The HSA operates at the forefront of medical science, utilizing advanced knowledge and skills to save lives and improve health outcomes. It supports people during their most vulnerable moments, providing care with compassion and respect when it is needed most.

The HSA is built on a shared set of values and principles that unite the communities it serves, including patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals working within the system.

This Constitution outlines the guiding principles and values of the HSA, defining the rights of patients, service providers, and staff. It also outlines the commitments the HSA makes to deliver fair, efficient, and high-quality services. Together, these ensure that all stakeholders benefit from a healthcare system that is equitable and effective.

The HSA Constitution will be reviewed and updated every three years to ensure its principles and values remain relevant and reflective of the needs of patients, staff, and the broader community.

The HSA ensures its services are accessible to everyone, regardless of gender, race, disability, age, religion, or beliefs.
